This will primarily consist of quarterly and annual SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.) and periodic reporting for debt compliance and other purposes.
The AR Specialist provides accounts receivable and accounting support for Sales and customers, including order entry, credit card processing and problem resolution. In addition, the AR Specialist provides general accounting support to the Controller through account review, reconciliations, and journal entries. The responsibilities of this position may change as the business needs change and progress.
This position will perform diversified tax assignments working more independently under the direction of manager or partner and lead engagements including organizing and coordinating clients’ tax data for the accurate, timely completion of individual tax returns and simple-to moderately-complex corporate, partnership, S-corp, and trust tax returns.
he Accountant II – Corporate will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparation of journal entries, monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analytics and forecasting. The position may also assist with the implementation of new operating platforms, accounting systems, and support programs as required.
The Accountant II – Operations will be responsible for ownership and understanding of assigned regional field financial statements and providing field management with accounting support. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the annual audit process and participating in special ad-hoc projects. The position will be responsible for ensuring Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are properly applied to a variety of complex issues in a retail business environment. Daily responsibility includes oversight of complex credit card and pre-paid card reconciliation processes, preparation of related accounting analyses and transaction entries, and assistance in oversight of accounting staff. Relevant accounting topics include cash accounting, income recognition, A/R, and inter-company transactions.
This position ensures that individual development project ledgers and other real estate accounting records are in accordance with GAAP and any other required basis of accounting. This role also coordinates, trains and coaches internal and external personnel on procedures, processes and policies.
