Job Description:
We are assisting our Arlington, TX client in a search for an Accounting Manager. This position will be responsible for improving accounting processes and managing the accounting function, including supporting audits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and quarter-end close process and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee accounting team and conduct ongoing training.
- Conduct accounting treatment for complex transactions.
- Conduct GL analysis.
- Perform job cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong Excel experience. JD Edwards software experience preferred.
