Plant Accounting Manager

Job Description:

We are assisting our Stuttgart, AR client in a search for a Plant Accounting Manager. This position will be responsible for managing and executing the initiatives of the accounting group. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial close process and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting and communicate results to management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout preparation.
• Oversee the general ledger and support other accounting functions, including payroll, AP, and AR.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including some supervisory experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
