Job Description:
We are assisting our Plano, Texas client in search for a Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, preparing tax filings, and providing audit support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
- Calculate commission payments.
- Prepare tax filings.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures.
- Assist with the financial reporting process.
- Create financial statements and footnotes.
- Assist with annual audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- CPA is a plus.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Real estate or financial services experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
