The Accounting Manager works closely with the Controller and is a key contributor to the accounting operations. Strong knowledge of GAAP is required along with solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical abilities. Responsibilities involve month end close, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciliations, and establishing and maintaining internal controls. Previous supervisory experience required. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the selected candidate will be responsible for contributing to the business finance function and maintaining complete General Ledger responsibilities for the business. This position will manage accounts receivable business-to-business collections, perform data entry and administrative duties, and other accounts receivable duties, as assigned.
This position is responsible for the preparation and timely filing of local, state and federal returns to include sales, employment, business personal property and income taxes for approximately 40 operating and real estate entities. The position also works with the Corporate Controller to maintain all tax tables and employment tax rates on the general ledger system.
The Staff Accountant will handle the day to day accounting for a specific set of oil and gas properties. This position will be responsible for all aspects of accounting for those properties including revenue, billing, owner relations, etc. This position will report to one of two Accounting Seniors as a part of the Accounting department.
This position will perform diversified tax assignments working more independently under the direction of manager or partner and lead engagements including organizing and coordinating clients’ tax data for the accurate, timely completion of individual tax returns and simple-to moderately-complex corporate, partnership, S-corp, and trust tax returns.

The position is responsible for maintaining relationships with many internal and external stakeholders.
This position involves supervising the workflow of any Staff on the engagement. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to meet time and budget constraints.
This is a sales position and as a sales executive will assist the customer through the sales process including recommending the correct product(s) to suit the customer’s needs after conducting proper research.
